Calling all Indigenous Book Lovers! Indigenous folks are welcome to join us for a bi-monthly book club reading and discussion group of Indigenous authors in a safe all-Indigenous space. No previous reading of the book required, only encouraged, as we’ll read sections aloud to discuss them. Discussions will be led by Sam. E-mail or call Sam for a copy of each month’s book and register online.

The first 12 people to register can receive a copy of the book to borrow. There is also one copy available as an ebook through CloudLibrary. However, even if you don't read the book at all beforehand, you're still welcome to join us.

In February we will read Birdie by Tracey Lindberg. Birdie is a darkly comic and moving novel about the experience of recovering from wounds of the past, informed by the knowledge of Cree traditions. Part road trip, dream quest and
travelogue, the novel touches on the universality of women’s experience.
